New Build
« on: June 21, 2017, 11:30:18 AM »

I have been thinking about doing a new build.  I would like to do a 9mm and 45acp.  My question is, can you get a 80% lower in these calibers and if you can where?  Also, I have a 5D tactical jig set will this work for these calibers?

I know New Frontier Armory makes both a 9mm and a 45acp 80% lower.

I found others on a simple Google search as well.

Cnc guns

He used to sell them .
Ar45
Takes grease gun magazines.
I think that he stopped selling 80% lowers when he got his manufacturing license.
You can buy a complete one through his site shipped to a ffl.

You can contact him and see if he still has a 80% still available.
Will probably work better in a modulus jig.
I'll have to check. Won't fit ez jig.

My brother and I ended up getting 100% lowers. We are both happy with them.

Your point reminds me that the 80% Arms Easy Jig probably won't work with the NFA lowers unless you get one of their new dual AR15/10 jigs which should work. I have not tried it but the new design is more like the Modulus Arms and 5D Tactical design.

New frontier lower fits the new 80% arms jig without issue. Since calibers in the ar15 size all should be identical in the areas that matter for this jig, I see no issue with them fitting.

Thanks for that follow up. Still waiting on my jig but that's good to hear. JoeBobOutfitters is having a slight sale on their New Frontier Armory 80% lowers and I wasn't sure if they would fit that jig.

They fit with PLENTY of room.
This jig looks like it will alleviate the anodize damage that happens with the gen 1 easy jig. Nothing touches the side to get those chips buried.
